Damien Hirst

Damien Hirst is considered one of the most prominent representatives of the so-caled Young British Artists. This term refers to the loosely affiliated group of artists who became known during the late 80s with innovative and sometimes shocking artworks. Other YBAs are Tracey Emin, Sarah Lucas and Marc Quinn.
