Robert Watts
ROBERT WATTS (1923-1988) was an American artist who was part of the FLUXUS movement from the early beginning.
In the early ’60s Robert Watts took part in many important group exhibitions with Pop Art related works. His multiples and publications, often self-published, were sold at low prices at the FluxShop in New York. He designed stamps for his own use.
In the 1980s the Italian publisher Francesco Conz made ‘blow-ups’: sheets of stamps were reproduced as large silkscreens on textile.
